COMMUNITY SERVICES
The Center actively supports the annual Relay for Life campaign. We conduct fund-raising activities as well as sponsor a team to walk each year. Additionally, we sponsor other special events for the community such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas Open House. Fax, copy, and free wi-fi are also available at the Center.

This year's Tailgate Market will be held every Wednesday from June 22 through August 31. Stop by between 8-11 am to pick up fresh veggies and locally grown and crafted projects. You'll find jams, jellies, produce, baked goods and more from area farmers and gardeners. Printable flyer  Vendor application

The Center is also home to the non-profit Smoky Mountain Native Plants Association, which is dedicated to the simultaneous preservation and use of native plants through education, cultivation, sustainable harvest and production of native plant products. The spacious Textile Studio provides a workspace and resources for a variety of textile arts. The Studio offers classes to help you develop artistic techniques in sewing, quilting, weaving, knitting, crochet and more. The Textile Studio offers business and technical assistance to develop textile entrepreneurs in the community. The goal of the program is to support every community member who wants to develop skills in textile arts for fun or for profit.
