Visit the Schoolhouse Cafe for drinks, snacks, candy and ice cream from 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday.
The Cafe also serves meals from 6 to 7:30 pm prior to Saturday concerts, as well as snacks and beverages through intermission.
Enjoy the convenience of wireless internet while dining inside, outside on the deck, or on the grounds.
Whether you are visiting the gallery, attending one of our classes or workshops, or just out for a drive, the Cafe is a great option for homemade items using fresh ingredients. We also use local suppliers wherever possible.
Before Each 'An Appalachian Evening' Concert
This year, our pre-concert Appalachian dinners are served from 6 to 7:30 pm in the Schoolhouse Cafe. Feel free to enjoy your meal in the Cafe, on the deck or anywhere on the grounds. No reservations are needed.
The fixed-menu 'box dinners' feature smoked chicken with two sides and a biscuit — each week. As in the past, we're serving traditional, home-cooked Appalachian fare, prepared from scratch in our kitchen using locally-grown seasonal vegetables when possible.
The Saturday evening cafe offerings include BBQ sandwich, hot dogs, Yellow Branch cheese and fruit plate, ice cream, homemade desserts, snacks and assorted drinks.
An Appalachian Evening Special
